Nurol Life

Nurol Life is a residence and office complex located in Seyrantepe, İstanbul. Designed by the award-winning architect Hakan Kıran, Nurol life provides a multifunctional living space for its residents. Consisted of four main blocks; Block A serves as the main entrance, Blocks B and D are the office areas and Block C, the tower, serves as a residence space. Tower C itself is visible from the main arterial road of İstanbul, TEM, which makes it the benchmark of the project. All the other blocks are visible from one of the busiest roads of İstanbul, Cendere Caddesi. The positioning of the building makes it a keystone for the city silhouette; therefore, the design idea focuses mainly on Tower C. The tower is illuminated at four corners from bottom to top by powerful projectors located on the façade of the building, giving the tower a sharp contour. Along with the corners of the building, balconies on each floor is illuminated with graze lighting, rendering the façade texture and increasing the three-dimensionality of the solid void relationship between the balconies and the façade. In fact, the main focus is still on the glass pyramid which rises as though as a huge light source on top of the tower.
